Have my draft tomorrow night. Want to see someone that you guys think will play above his ranking.

My pick is Jameis Winston. Before you gag consider this. The guy didn't even finish seven games before going out injured for the rest of the year. In those seven games he threw 14 TDs against only 3 interceptions. That's quite the TD to int ratio reversal from his last year in Tampa (31/31). And He had a subpar group of receivers to throw to. This year he gets back Michael Thomas (missed all of last year). He gets the first WR taken in last year's draft in Chris Olave. And they brought in Jarvis Landry too. He'll also get a healthy Kamara who can turn short passes into big gains, especially if those other receivers are clearing out. Jameis can also still run some if those points mean anything in your scoring system. And the thing I love is that Winston has a gun and can throw a mean deep ball. Those long TDs mean a lot in our scoring.

Also like:

Wide Refeivers Amon St Brown with Detroit; and Elija Moore with the Jets. Those two guys really came into their own in the back half of last year.

And a running back worth a middle - late round shot - Dameon Pierce for Houston. The rook has been great in pre season and I wouldn't be surprised to see him named Houston't starter.

What do you guys have?

I'm all in on Goedert, you can probably get him fairly late but don't wait too long. Also like Mike Williams a lot. I have Winston on my bench and agree with you on his play. Late rounders are Zamir White (LV) and Dalvin's little brother, James (Bills).

Marlin Mack got cut today so Pierce's stock went up a little. Gibson is worth a shot (sorry) with Robinson out. I got him late.

Good luck MA

I like Brandon Aiyuk a lot to be productive this year. Think he is going to get a lot more deep ball opportunities with Lance

He'll be a nice WR2 or flex option

Kenyan Drake got added to the Raven's roster today. Dobbins is having a tough recovery so "The Drake" may be worth a flier...good receiving back

Hi mountain. Good to see you around.

Mike Williams of the Chargers. Why did he tail off so badly after the first several games last year? Never did figure that out.

Do you think Zamir White will get the start over Josh Jacobs? I do think the Raiders will run more this year under McDaniels.

I know you're high on Lance. How many TDs do you think he'll put up. You think he throws an accurate deep ball with that gun he has? I like his penchant to run. Those points are worth a lot in our scoring system.

Is the rookie going to share carries, Bozz? I do think that will be a run heavy offense. They were tearing it up on the ground during preseason.
They going to work Penny, new contract the offensive line may have improved but it's hard to tell in the pre.
But yes they love the rookie too.( Kenneth Walker) run heavy it's what Pete loves and with Wilson gone he's able to pound it on the ground without taking guff from the media and Wilson

biggest deal with Penny is durability

good luck

You can get Jamis as Your 2nd qb towards one of the last rounds.

I think pierce goes MUCH earlier than you think as he is the starter.
Where is St brown ranked? We were playing him in FD last year and he scored every week towards the end of the year.

good luck

I think Williams had a nagging hammy last year. He started strong, tailed off but then came on strong. He signed a new 3 year contract and is 27 years old, he should be in great shape. Most will draft Keenan, making Williams a decent later pick but both should shine this year. Allen is 30 and has had some injuries in the past. The Williams draft for me is a youthful, less injured play because they both should shine this year. I'm thinking Williams may be a little less injury risk.

I doubt Zamir White will out touch Jacobs early but I look for him to get a bigger role as the season progresses making him a good stash

I see a committee with Walker when both get out of their respective MASH units. Walker will probably miss the first couple of games.

A committee running back situation with 2 unhealthy rb's on one of the worst offenses in the league is a hard pass for me

Ju Ju gonna get back to close to what he was in Pittsburg 3 years ago

Russell Wilson will be a top 5 QB
Harris will be the #1 fantasy back this year
Chase will outperform both Kupp and Jefferson

I have one more big steal that you can draft late but I’m not going to post it until after therx 500 draft tomorrow night .

And yea Winston has a chance to have a great year
I have a bet on around +600 to win comeback player of the year

Also have a +1600 on mayfield and that line is already down to +700

MA where you drafting?

You ideally want to be middle to late first round from my experience and prioritize wide receivers

Yea, Jameis will be a very late backup QB pick who could supplant my starter if things work as I'm thinking. But a late pck for sure.

I'm seeing Pearce around the 9th or 10th round. Maybe he moves up now that Mack has been cut. Maybe more if he's named the starter which I haven't heard that he has been.

You're gonna have to get St Brown somewhere between 40 and 50 I think. If he's there when my fourth round pick comes I'm snatching him. Don't think that I can afford to dip lower than that.

Good luck to you, Fins. When is your draft?

I think Lance will perform well fantasy-wise. I could see Kyle really trying to lean on the run game in the early parts of the season, but that of course will likely include some QB-design runs. I think he will punch it in the end zone with his legs quite a bit, which is a nice boost.

Aiyuk is a great deep route runner, and a major takeaway from training camp has been that Lance/Aiyuk in particular have had sensational chemistry. Aiyuk reportedly has taken a huge step forward

Fun fact: I actually won my fantasy championship game with Lance as my starter and Aiyuk as my flex against the Texans in Week 17.

Wilson? Not for me.

Najee? Had him last year. He was great. But that O line stinks and hurts his chances of being the best in Fantasy. They sure held him back last year.

I like Chase. Who doesn't? But Kupp proved to be a super stud last year. If he stays healthy he'll be a super stud again this year. Chase still has a lot to prove but he'll clearly be drafted amongst the top few wide receivers.

Curious to know you're hidden gem.

How is Olave gonna do. Can he get deep for Winston's deep gun?

Awwww. I get it. Sentimental bias!

Good luck this year, Av. You're the guy to catch in the NFL Contest. We'll all be chasing!
